Chicago Electric boats are driven by the patented Power Rudder™ which provides excellent tracking and unmatched maneuverability allowing the operator to even turn within its own length! The thoughtful design and engineering produces maximum interior room and comfort. In addition, our boats are inspected by the USCG Auxiliary.

Chicago Electric Boat Company was founded by two avid mariners, Ron Silvia and Greg Krueger, who were looking to make a social and environmental impact on Chicago's waterways. Their goal is to encourage boating in a recreational and green way so customers can enjoy what we believe is the city's backyard!
Whether you call Chicago home, or you are visiting for a short while, a one or up to four hour cruise on the Chicago River is a great way to enjoy the city from a total different perspective. We believe that everyone should be able to maneuver through the beautiful waterway that played such an integral role in the city we know and love today!
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to six months in advance. Last minute and walk-up customers are always welcome but are subject to availability.
We are conveniently located under Marina City (300 N. State Street)—right in the heart of the Loop! We have preferred parking with the House of Blues (up to 3 hours for $14)!
We are located right under the House of Blues. Go to the vestibule where you pay for the House of Blues valet parking and take that elevator down to the lowest level--"marina" level. Our offices are located on the left. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to six months in advance.
