A Year in Numbers – 2022

Well, folks, that’s a wrap!

The time of the year has come, once again. Is it the end of an era? Not really, just the 2022 season. What a season it was!

214

The number of days between April 15th, and November 15th, that our Electric Boats were taking groups of happy passengers up and down the Chicago River.

12

The number of engagements that took place on our boats this season. We are continually touched by many people who choose us as a venue when they pop the question – we wish all of you the very best! Be sure to come to see us again every anniversary.

32

The number of bachelor and bachelorette parties that were held aboard our boats. Think of the number of boas, sashes, custom koozies, and creatively shaped straws that made appearances on the Chicago River this season – yikes!

65

The number of corporate events that were held on our boats. That’s literally hundreds of lucky employees who got to get out of the office and on the beautiful Chicago River, all in the name of work. You’re welcome Chicago, we’re always happy to help!

120

The number of birthday parties celebrated on Chicago Electric Boat this season. Did you know that celebrating your birthday on an electric boat actually causes you to age backward? It’s true – you should see these people who celebrate birthdays with us!

It was a privilege to be a part of all these special moments and share in your joys. This year we had the opportunity to welcome back many returning customers while meeting many new customers from all parts of the world. Chicago’s weather did not disappoint us and added character and fun to the season. The days were a traditional mix of warm and welcoming temperatures, gentle breezes, blistery winds, hot & humid, and our share of precipitation.

We would like to thank each and every one of you, for the opportunity to share some of your memorable life events. We look forward to serving and celebrating with you again next season.

But, until spring, we wish all of you a happy & healthy winter. Hopefully, we will see  some of you on St. Patrick’s day (details to come)!
